Unlike JA, there is no scheduling or volunteer dependency; it is yours to run any day. The trade-off is that you assemble and pace the course yourself, which experienced teachers love and brand-new ones can find overwhelming.

The Stock Market Game, if you want the investing piece JA lacks

The Stock Market Game, backed by the SIFMA Foundation and often free through your state's Council for Economic Education, puts students in teams that manage a hypothetical portfolio on a class leaderboard, which gives the market simulation a competitive pull JA's budgeting capstone does not have. Data has historically been delayed and the interface is dated, but as the hands-on investing unit JA does not really include, it is a proven, no-cost add.

EVERFI, if you want free self-guided digital modules

EVERFI runs on a sponsor-funded model and delivers polished, self-paced digital modules that scale across a district at no cost, with no volunteer coordination required. The trade-off of that model is real: because students mostly read and click through on their own, engagement runs more passive than a facilitated lesson, but for a low-lift, always-available digital baseline it is a common choice.

JA's own classroom curricula, if you like JA but need more seat time

Worth naming: Junior Achievement offers other classroom programs beyond Finance Park that add instructional hours, including JA Personal Finance, an eight-session high school course covering earning, budgeting, credit, and an investing topic, and JA BizTown, a hands-on simulated-town program for grades 4-5. If your school already has a JA relationship and volunteers you trust, extending within JA before switching vendors is a reasonable first move.

Rapunzl, if you want a full graded course with live investing
